If you’re looking for some good oysters and Chesapeake dishes on the river, then look no further. Located in the Navy Yard neighborhood next to the Nationals baseball stadium, we’ve spent many of times here before and after baseball games.
For anyone who loves good schnitzel, pretzels, and good beer, this German-themed restaurant is in north Georgetown and a few minute ride from the hotels. This is also the place we were eating when we found out COVID would shut down the city (world).
This former bank – also just steps from the White House – has some of our favorite food in the city. Everything from their oysters to their steaks, to a good happy hour, this restaurant is one of our favorites. Not to mention, you may very well see some politicians enjoying a bite to eat here.
One of our favorite places to eat and one of our go-to spots when we lived in the Georgetown area, this place has fresh ingredients for delicious (and healthy) tacos and quesadillas, juices, smoothies, etc. Great for a morning bite.
Perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a drink and views of the Potomac River.
