Take the Metro Aeroport T2 train R2N for 3 stops and transfer at Barcelona-Sants (Rodalies) train R1 for 13 stops. Get off at Caldes d'Estrac station. You can then walk or take a taxi from the station to the villa. Click here for timetable and tickets. https://rodalies.gencat.cat/en/horaris/ (Barcelona to Sant Vicenç de Montalt) https://www.tmb.cat/en/home (airport access only) Travel Tip | Barcelona Travel Card Consider buying a T-Casual travel card if you plan to take multiple journeys between the Villa and Barcelona or if you will be spending lots of time in Barcelona city centre. It allows you take at least 10 journeys by bus or metro - each journey works out a lot cheaper. A price of T-Casual for zones 1 - 4: $28.66 (€27.45). One round trip ticket from the Villa to Barcelona costs $9.61 (€9.2). The cost of the train ticket to and from BCN Airport is not included in the T-Casual card and is separate.
Travel Note
Rent a Car (45 mins/35 miles/56 kilometers): You might be planning to tour the surrounding Barcelona area - the winding coastal drive from Barcelona is beautiful. Drive along the N-II motorway. Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Enterprise and Sol-Mar are all present in Barcelona Airport (T1). Rideshare Service (45 mins/35 miles/56 kilometers): Cabify is Barcelona's "Uber" (PS- no Uber service here). Download the Cabify app before you leave! You can reserve a time in advance for pickup. This will cost approximately $63 (€60). https://cabify.com/en By Taxi (45 mins/35 miles/56 kilometers): There are taxi ranks located outside T1 at Barcelona Airport. They are easy to locate just look for the signs for the taxi rank when you leave any terminal building which will point you in the right direction to the nearest taxi rank. The taxis are black with yellow sides (green light on roof means taxi is available). This will cost approximately $85.50 (€82). Travel Tip: confirm with the taxi driver approximately how much the taxi fee would be and if they accept credit card as payment (in Spanish that would be "Puedo pagar con tarjeta?").
