Donnis and Sheneque met in January of 2023 at a local Walgreens Store. While picking up a few items she happened to bump into Donnis and noticed he was wearing a New England Patriots Jersey. By her being a Falcons Fan it was a feeling of curiosity that came over her that why someone would wear such a “Trash” of a jersey. Donnis noticed that all eyes were on him so he spoke to her with words of confidence when he said "you're a blessing to my eyes.” They exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone for hours. They learned that some of their families knew of each other. For their first date Donnis planned for them to meet up downtown Atlanta where they took a stroll around Centennial Park. The walk was so pleasant and delightful that they decided to plan a second date. Things kicked off from there and the two decided to make it official and date. In July of 2023 Donnis surprised Sheneque with a promise ring vowing to be honest, loyal, and faithful. They continued dating and little to Sheneque knowledge that Donnis would propose to her on December 25, 2023.
