These FAQs should address the most common questions our guests will have, but if there's anything else you'd like to ask about, please let us know!

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is at a resort in Destin called the Emerald Grande. The address is 10 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. The ceremony will be outdoors on the Captain's Deck. The reception will be in the Grande Ballroom, which is nearby on the same property.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. Complimentary parking is provided for wedding guests--just let them know at the gate you're there for the wedding. The entire Destin Harbor complex shares a single parking lot, so please be prepared that it may take a few minutes to navigate the lot. After parking, you will need to walk partway across the resort to get to the Captain's Deck, where the ceremony will be held. We would recommend arriving by 5:15 to ensure you have enough time to find your way to the Captain's Deck.

What should I wear?

Answer

We're describing our dress code as "dressy," but you're also welcome to go more formal if you'd like! Just remember that the ceremony will be outdoors on a beachside deck and the reception will be inside. With a 6pm start time, we won't be getting peak Florida sun, but the temperature likely will still be quite warm.

May I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

For a few of you who we've spent a lot of time with your kids, we've included them on your invitation. However, most invitations are just for you and (if applicable) your spouse. Please plan to attend only with the guests who are included on your invitation. If there are extenuating circumstances we may have forgotten (like a nursing mother), please let us know!

When will food be served?

Answer

Since the wedding doesn't start until 6pm, that means dinner will be a little later as well. Please expect that you may not be eating until close to 8pm. There will be hors d'oeuvres served around 6:30 after the ceremony concludes, but you may still want to eat a late lunch.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Since we anticipate spending the next few years traveling for Riley's career, we're working hard to downsize right now! If you'd like to provide a gift, we've created funds through which you can support our honeymoon, our temporary homes on the road, and our future long-term home. You can find those funds under the "registry" tab on this website. We'll try to use those gifts exactly as you've designated, but if we have more than we need in any category, we'll put it toward the most needed use. We're sorry we can't receive gifts through a traditional registry right now. We're really grateful for your desire to support us!
