While we adore your children, our wedding will be adults (21+) only. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day. We hope you enjoy a night off!
Yes, parking at the venue is available and free! There are no time limits for parking, and you can even keep your car overnight at the venue if needed.
We kindly ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins -- that way, everyone has time to park, find their seat, and settle in before we say "I do." The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, and we want to make sure no one misses a moment!
Yes! Because our venue is on the TN/AL line, we have rooms blocked at a discounted price at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Athens, Alabama. It is approximately 20 minutes from our venue. We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for the evening. For men, this means button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow-tie. No jacket/full suit necessary. For women, cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy skirts are appropriate. ***NO JEANS OR TENNIS SHOES***
Our ceremony will be unplugged. We will have a professional photographer who will capture every moment for us. Respectfully, we will ask that all guests put their phones away for a brief moment as we say our "I Do's." During the reception you may take as many photos and videos as you'd like.
Our venue is on the Tennessee/Alabama line. If you're flying in, the closest airport is in Huntsville, Alabama. Once you arrive in Huntsville, you will want to take an Uber or drive to Athens, AL,.
