One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Reno. Only a block away from the J Resort! Shelby’s favorite: hamachi nigiri and La Diabla long roll. Ryan’s favorite: gyoza and Itzavy long roll. Make sure you do all you can eat in order to have an authentic Reno sushi experience. You won’t regret it!
Drive over the mountains to see Lake Tahoe! Sand Harbor is one of the most beautiful beaches in Tahoe. September is a great time to visit with less crowds. Rent a paddle board or kayak and get out on the crystal clear water of Big Blue. $10 cash only entrance fee ($15 non NV vehicle). Check out the Tahoe East Shore Trail while you’re there.
Love walking? Love good views? Walk or bike from Incline Village to Sand Harbor Beach. Bike rentals available at Vista Trail Bikes or Flume Trail Bikes.
Mountain biking is our love language. Rent bikes from Flume Trail Bikes and catch a shuttle from the shop. The Incline Flume trail is an easy, roughly 9-mile point to point where riders will take the Incline Flume across and then descend Tunnel Creek Road to return to the shop. This is a great beginner route with no significant elevation gain. Enjoy amazing views of Lake Tahoe! See link for more info or reach out to Ryan or Shelby if you want to give mountain biking a go closer to town.
Birdeez is a unique entertainment venue that offers a combination of exciting activities, including three 9-hole mini-golf courses, a challenging quiz room for trivia enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art technology-driven darts experience, two bars, and one restaurant. It’s the perfect place for a fun-filled getaway with friends and family.
Restaurants, bars, shops, art, and more! Visit the iconic Reno Arch and walk along the Truckee River which flows through the heart of downtown Reno.
One of our favorite breakfast spots in downtown Reno. Shelby’s favorite: Moneyball Double Down. Ryan’s favorite: The McIsley. Also can’t go wrong with a warm biscuit and whipped honey butter.
