1. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm. Please allow time to walk out on to the beach and get settled in.

2. What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach Casual Attire May we suggest for Gentlemen long or short-sleeved shirts with slacks or shorts (no athletic atire please). For the Ladies, sundress or dressy separates (pants, shorts, skirts). Since this event will be on sand and grass, flats, wedges, open sandals or flip flops are recommend.

3. What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Dinner and drinks will be served during the reception. We will have a variety of non-alcohlic beverages, beer, wine and a one signature coctail. If you have something special you enjoy drinking, you can bring what you like.

4. When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP before October 1, 2024. Please do so on our website or simply use the special QR code on your invitation.

5. What will the weather be like?

Answer

Temperatures tend to hover in the mid-70s, with usually sunny skies (an average of only four days of rain), and the humidity that can accompany summer months has pretty much disappeared. If you like it sunny and temperatures in the mid-70s (and who doesn't?), October is a great month to be in Charleston.

6. What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Go to the "Travel" section of our website and you will find several area hotels listed with address and contact information. They are listed in order of proximity to the beach/venu.

7. Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

“While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.” We encourage taking lots of photos at the Reception!

8. Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have been asking for gift ideas, we’ve created an online registry on our website and there will also be a box for cards with your well wishes.
