The closest major airport is Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), located about an hour north of St. Augustine. JAX offers a wide range of direct flights and is typically the most convenient option for reaching the area. There is also a small regional airport in St. Augustine itself, though it has very limited commercial service.
We recommend guests book flights and car rentals or transportation in advance, as St. Augustine is best navigated by car. Rideshares, rental cars, and private shuttles are all available from Jacksonville, and the drive into St. Augustine is straightforward and scenic along Florida’s northeast coast.
Packing for warm beach weather, casual evening gatherings, and a more formal ceremony on Sunday will help ensure you’re prepared for each part of the celebration.
