What's the attire for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Black-Tie Optional. Men should wear tuxedos or dark suits, and women should wear long gowns or elegant cocktail length dresses.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The welcome reception will start promptly at 5:00pm. This will give everyone a chance to enjoy a welcome drink, explore the Castle Hill grounds & take pictures at the Agassiz Mansion before the ceremony. Transportation from Downtown Newport to Castle Hill will be provided for guests. See below for more details.

Will transportation be provided for guests?

Answer

Yes, we'll have a bus picking guests up at 4pm from The Sonesta (9 Commerce Dr, Middletown, RI), and pick-up location #2 is The Red Parrot in downtown Newport (348 Thames Street) ~4:20-4:30pm, depending on traffic from The Sonesta. Complimentary valet will also be provided should you choose to drive yourself to Castle Hill.

May I bring a guest?

Answer

If your wedding invitation specifies you + a guest, then the answer is yes! If not, we unfortunately do not have enough space to accommodate an additional guest. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

May I bring my child to the wedding ceremony or reception?

Answer

We want all of our guests to enjoy a fun night - and the best way to do that is without worrying about little eyes and ears!
