Magnolias Sous Le Pont
Our favorite local coffee shop! We love to walk here on the weekends to grab a quick bite and get some reading done. Our go-to drinks are their lavender matcha and london fog!
Dallas Farmers Market
Another favorite weekend morning activity! We love coming here and perusing all of the local food and arts and crafts vendors. They have delicious food stands and coffee options, as well as our favorite plant shop, Ruibal's!
White Rock Lake
Our absolute favorite running/walking trail in Dallas! It is also located near a couple of our go-to coffee shops (Merit Coffee, Black Sheep Coffee, White Rock Coffee, Ascension Coffee) that you can swing by before or after.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Located right next to White Rock Lake. We could spend an entire day here walking around the lush gardens and listening to some live music on the weekends! Be sure to check the website for hours and admission fees.
El Vecino Tex Mex
A super quick drive from White Rock/the Dallas Arboretum if you're feeling some classic tex-mex!
The Katy Trail
Another favorite of ours for running/walking! There are also several restaurants/coffee shops along the trail to check out. Our favorites are Katy Trail Ice House (best margs in Dallas!) and Rose Café (great lattes and asian-inspired cuisine!).
Rodeo Goat
Our go-to place for burgers and home to our favorite loaded fries!
Klyde Warren Park
A Dallas staple! We love bringing our picnic blanket here on a sunny day to lay out and read. There's also a bunch of food trucks to choose from (shoutout Fletcher's Original Corny Dogs) and a huge playground and splash pad for the kids!
Dallas Museum of Art
Located just a short walk north of Klyde Warren Park and one of our go-tos whenever friends and family visit from out of town. Admission is free and it's a great way to spend an hour or two escaping the Texas heat!
Lower Greenville
One of our favorite walkable neighborhoods! We love to come here for thrift shopping (Crossroads and 2nd Street are our go-tos) and there are so many restaurants and bars along the strip to choose from. We highly recommend Botolino Gelato Artigianale to satisfy your sweet treat cravings!
Bishop Arts District
Another one of our go-to walkable neighborhoods with fun boutiques, gift shops, and galleries. There are too many great coffee shops and restaurants to name them all here, but some of our favorites are La Reunion, Eno's Pizza Tavern, Emporium Pies, and Wild Detectives!
