We highly recommend the lodge's restaurant, The View! The food is great and view over Estes Park is truly incredible. You do not have to be staying at the lodge to go to the restaurant. Just call ahead!

Fall River Road has many lodges and cabins all along the river. This area is minutes away from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park!

While we have never personally stayed here, we have driven by multiple times and love the area. There are rooms that sleep 4 for around $200 a night as well. Anything on Fall River will be a great location and there are lots of options in this area.

Denver International Airport is the closest airport to Lyons, Colorado with a one hour drive. Estes Park is another 30 minutes for Lyons. We recommend renting a car. We have rented cars through the airport for convenience. We have also had good luck getting deals using Routes Car Rental located in Commerce City. There is a 10-15 minute shuttle that takes you from the airport to Routes.
Travel Note
Looking to camp in the national park? If this is your thing, you ABSOLUTELY should. Patrick and I have stayed in the following sites: Aspenglen, Glacier Basin, and Moraine Park (closed for refurbishment, but may open in time for the wedding). We have also camped on the West Side of Rocky Mountain National Park at Timber Creek. Camping is a great way to see both sides of the park! Essentially, the park has a west side entrance in Grand, Lake Colorado and an east entrance in Estes Park. It would take roughly 1.5 hours to drive through the entire park using Trail Ridge Road. If Trail Ridge Road is closed, it would take over 4 hours to drive from one side to the other. Ideally, the road will be open during the time of our wedding as the road historically closed mid-October for the season. Things to know: Camping INCLUDES TIMED ENTRY. An incredible perk. You DO NOT have to make a park reservation. All sites except Timber Creek also include a Bear Lake reservation. You do need to pay the park entrance fee. You can come and go as you please. Sites book up EARLY. 6 months out TO THE MINUTE. Find the campsite you want online and book 12:00AMMST to secure your spot. Never camped before and want to? Please reach out to Donica or Patrick. We would love to be a part of that journey!
