It was December 2023 when our good friend Danila introduced Donato and I on the way to a party. We sat next to each other in the back seat while our friends in the car with us faded into the background and suddenly all we could focus on was getting to know each other. Those who knows us know we love to talk! Haha! After noticing the spark between us, Danila insisted on me going to Donato’s New Year’s Eve party. He was very well dressed, charming, and even cooked the whole meal! I was impressed, he was a real gentleman! But what made me fall for him the most, was when he told me about his love for music. For those of you that don’t know Donato, besides being an engineer, he is also an excellent musician! We began getting to know each other over 3 hour phone calls in the middle of the night and not even a year later, he proposed! We were in Washington DC celebrating his birthday when he told me he wanted to wake up on his birthday next to the woman of his life and the most wonderful thing that ever happened to him…I cried! I could not believe what was happening! It took me 28 years of my life across the ocean, to meet the man of my dreams, someone with the same culture! We recently bought a home and are so excited about starting this new chapter of our lives together, it even has a room dedicated to his ten guitars!
