we're getting married!

JD messaged Carly on Facebook... yes, Facebook. They talked for a few days on Facebook Messenger before finally exchanging phone numbers. JD was stationed in Georgia, while Carly was in Massachusetts. They finally met in person in December, when JD came home for 2 weeks.

After work, Carly arrived to a small get together for the 4th of July. It was only a few days since having their dog, Kona, so Carly wanted to see her right away. All of a sudden, Kona came running out of the house with a tag on her collar saying "Will you marry daddy?" Carly turned around to find JD down on one knee, with the most beautiful ring.
