Don and Sitafa met in August of 2015 in the MBA program at the University of Memphis. Don and Sitafa were seated directly across the room from each other, and naturally locked eyes. About a month into the program, Don sent Sitafa a GroupMe message, expressing interest in hanging out outside of class, maybe a little studying involved. Sitafa accepted the invite on the condition that Don made sure she passed all of her tests. As they began to spend time together, they quickly became best friends, spending almost everyday after class exploring the city and getting to know one another. In December of 2016, on New Year's Eve, they made their relationship official and the rest is history!

Don pulled out all the stops during his wonderful proposal to Sitafa at Seasons 52. He tricked Sitafa into thinking they would be attending a celebration for his mother hosted by a local church. He even created a fake event flyer to make the whole thing seem legit. Don then coordinated with Seasons 52 to set up a private room with beautiful decorations, a dedicated waiter, and their choice of food and drinks for the night. Finally, Don facetimed Sitafa's parents, brother, and grandmother to virtually witness the event. With everything in place, Sitafa arrived with no idea of what was about to happen. Once at the restaurant, Don's mom created a short diversion that distracted Sitafa just long enough for him to get into position. When Sitafa walked into their private room, Don was there on bended knee. Sitafa said YES and they spent the rest of the night enjoying a private dinner and thoughts of spending the rest of their lives together.
