As many of you know, Rebekah's sister Sarah is a musician. She wrote a song for her husband Charlie, titled Rewind. It's about wishing she could rewind time and meet Charlie earlier in life. Shortly after Rebekah and Don started dating they knew their lives should be closer than an Indiana/Ohio relationship. Don joked that he should write Fast Forward, about fast forwarding to the day they could be together. When the time to propose came, Don and Sarah worked together to make that song come to life and the "extra verse" of Rewind was conceived. It has only been performed once. At Barton Bash, May 11th of 2024, Rebekah was oblivious to the fact that her life was about to change as Sarah Barton & Second That closed out the night with Rewind and the "extra" Fast Forward verse. It was a truly magic moment as Rebekah said yes and the sky lit up with fireworks, and tears of happiness flowed. Sarah will be playing Fast Forward and a few more songs for us all. There will be more music after!
