Question

A Heads-Up About Denver’s High Altitude

Answer

Welcome to Denver! Our Mile High City is at 5,280 feet, which may cause altitude sickness for some guests, especially those coming from sea level. Symptoms can include headaches, nausea, dizziness, or fatigue. To stay comfortable, drink plenty of water, avoid heavy alcohol consumption, eat light meals, and take it easy the first day or two. If you have health concerns or feel unwell, consult a doctor. We want everyone to feel great for the celebration!

Question

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

You can explore our registry under the 'Registry' tab, or feel free to visit our Amazon registry directly https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/DonaldsonRomeroWedding for a full list of items we'd love!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00, please make sure to be seated by 4:45.

Question

What's the schedule?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be at The Oaks at Plum Creek. The ceremony will start promptly at 5PM and the event will end no later than 11PM.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests dress in cocktail attire for our celebration. Think elegant and stylish—dresses, dressy separates, or tailored suits are perfect!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

If they are included on the invitation we'd love to have them!

Question

Are there nearby airports or transportation for out of town guests?

Answer

If flying, we recommend flying into Denver International Airport. From the airport to the recommended hotels is about a 30 minute drive. From there to the venue is about 20 minutes. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Outside of that, the more the merrier.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It averages a high of 80 and a low of 50 in September in Denver. It's an arid climate, so it rarely rains. Take caution to the effect elevation has on your body, rest up and hydrate on your first day in town.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you are allocated a plus one this will be noted on your invitation.

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

There will be passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by plated dinner during the reception.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please reach out separately, we will try to accommodate your needs.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar from 5:30 to 9:30PM.

Question

How do guests get the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of on-site parking for those who drive or rent a vehicle. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in the area.
