We first met during the Arkansas State University annual Resident assistant selection process spring 2012, we didn't really communicate on our initial meeting but little did we know we would be working together that next year. Fall 2012 rolled around and to our surprise we were working in the same building, it was funny because Keisha was originally assigned to work in a different dorm, but God had our destiny already mapped out.

It was a Sunday afternoon, Don wanted to take me out on a date which wasn't a surprise to me, we always go out on dates. But that day was different, at first we were just going to go out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants called the cheesecake factory, but Don mentioned going to the very top of the bass pro-shop pyramid, we had never gone there. At first I was a little hasten, but once i put my fears aside we went to the very top of the pyramid and it was beautiful. From the top of the pyramid we could see the Mississippi river, mud island and all of riverside drive. it was amazing. As I was gazing out looking at the river, don got down on one knee and asked me if I would stay by his side life this for the rest of his life. And i said YES!.
