FAQs

We want everyone attending our wedding to have the most carefree, enjoyable time! Please see below for a few "things to know" to help you feel best prepared for our day. If you happen to have any further questions, please reach out to us directly at "thespampinatos.fd@gmail.com". All final details on our special day will be included within your formal invitation to come!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's time to dust off your finest gowns & tuxes - our wedding is Black-Tie Preferred.

Question

What does "Black-Tie" mean?

Answer

"Black-Tie" means guests should wear their most formal attire, such as evening gowns or tuxedos. For the men, we do understand if a formal, dark suit is a more feasible option. For the ladies, we ask no shades of white be worn as to reserve for the bride, and suggest floor-length or maxi dresses only. Please no above the knee!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those who are addressed & listed on your formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are my kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our lives, our wedding will be an Adult-Only celebration. For all of the parents out there, we hope you can use this as a fun night out!

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend?

Answer

We will sincerely miss you and hope to see you soon! RSVP details will be included in your formal invitation. If you are unable to attend, please RSVP ‘no’ to help us best plan accordingly. If you know you are unable to attend prior to receiving your formal invitation, please email us ASAP at “thespampinatos.fd@gmail.com”.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive to the church by 2:00PM as doors will be shut by 2:15PM.

Question

Is there parking available at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary & St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church?

Answer

Street parking is available in the surrounding areas of the church. We strongly encourage those who are driving to the church allow for a minimum of 30 minutes for parking needs prior to our requested ceremony arrival time of 2:00PM, ensuring you are seated comfortably in time. Doors will be closed by 2:15PM.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony to provide the utmost respect to the church, and to us as we say "I do". We want everyone to be fully present with us during this moment. Once the ceremony begins we ask that cameras be stowed and phones be silenced & tucked away. We have the best-of-the-best photographer who will be capturing amazing photos, which we will share with you all after. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like - and make sure to share with us!

Question

Is there a time break between the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

There are a few hours between our Ceremony at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary & St. Stephen Roman Church and Reception at The Liberty Warehouse. Please feel free to use this time to freshen up for a fun night ahead, or explore local shops & restaurants in Carroll Gardens and Red Hook. We encourage guests to browse our "Things To Do" for recommendations on a few favorite spots in the area!

Question

Is there parking available at The Liberty Warehouse?

Answer

Yes! The Liberty Warehouse will have a full service valet.

Question

I have an allergy - what do I do?

Answer

Please email us at "thespampinatos.fd@gmail.com" with all that we need to know, and we will alert the Liberty Warehouse ahead of time.
