We met in our senior year of high school because of a couple shared classes. We really started to take notice of each other during a service project where we transported a couple thousand canned goods. Romantic, right? After that project, we would always walk back to our cars after class, and Donald decided to make the first move! #TechnicallyHighSchoolSweethearts! Since then, we have mostly had a "medium-distance" relationship while we both got our college educations. We found a common love for exploring God's creation and petting dogs along the way! We visited the Great Smokies in June, and Donald popped the big question on a beautiful (but sweaty) hike. We are so excited to celebrate the big day soon and start our new adventure together as a married couple!
