Question
When and where is the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be outside at the Radisson Hotel in Fredericton. The ceremony will begin at 3 PM with cocktail hour to follow. The dinner will begin at 6 PM inside the ballroom. The reception will be inside and outside weather permitting. The reception will go until 1 AM and we request that guests respect that cut off time.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
As we need to have our official head count to the venue in advance, please RSVP by May 1st, 2026. If we do not hear from guests and RSVPs are not confirmed then we will not have a seat for you so please ensure that you RSVP as soon as you know if you are available to join us for this special day!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is going to begin at 3 PM. Please ensure that you arrive to the ceremony approximately 30 minutes early to ensure that everyone is there on time, and there are no disruptions during the ceremony.

What is the dress code?
Answer
For our wedding, we are requesting that guests come in darker shades/colours. This is a formal event, so please no jeans or shorts. Longer dresses, suits, dress shirts/pants, or anything seen as formal/semi-formal are acceptable choices for attire .

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Our venue is at the Radisson Hotel in Fredericton. We have blocked off rooms for guests to stay at if that is an interest to you. Book under “Maston & Nearing Wedding”. There are other hotels in the area that will be listed on this website. Please ensure that if you are not staying at the Radisson and plan to drink, that you arrange for a safe and sober drive to your accommodation.

Is there a gift registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is truly the only gift we need. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would help us to create memories that last a lifetime! There will be a card box if anyone would like to leave us a card wishing us well on the rest of our lives together!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to space limitations at the venue, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding in this.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
To allow all guests, including parents, to have an evening of relaxation and celebration, we respectfully request no children at our wedding. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Can we have outside liquor at the venue?
Answer
We will be having a cash bar and also be providing each guest two drinks on us! Due to the venue rules, we ask that no outside liquor be brought into the venue. There is a possibility for our bar to be shut down early if guests are caught drinking outside liquor. Please respect these rules to ensure that everyone can have a fun night!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request for no phones to be out during our ceremony. We invite you to be present and trust that our photographer will capture all of the moments!

What food will be served at dinner?
Answer
There will be two options to choose from – a chicken dinner and a ham dinner. When you RSVP, please let us know which dish you would like so that we can let the venue know as soon as possible.
