Our wedding will take place at Hacienda Vista Hermosa, just outside Mexico City.
We recommend arriving in Mexico City on the morning of Friday, January 8th, so you can take the shuttle to the venue and enjoy the full wedding weekend with us.
Yes. A shuttle will depart from Polanco and Mexico City International Airport on Friday, January 8th and take guests to the venue. A return shuttle to Polanco will be provided on Sunday, January 10th at 12:00 p.m.
If you are traveling from Ireland, New York or outside Mexico City, please share your flight arrival and departure details with us once your travel plans are confirmed so we can coordinate transportation.
We have arranged a room block at Hacienda Vista Hermosa, where the wedding will take place. Rooms are limited, so we encourage guests to reserve early.
Formal wedding attire. The ceremony and celebration will take place outdoors, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
January is one of the most pleasant months in central Mexico. Expect warm days and cooler evenings, so bringing a light layer for the evening is recommended.
Yes — children and little ones are very welcome. Hacienda Vista Hermosa is a wonderful place for families, and the property has plenty of space for kids to enjoy the weekend. There are playground areas, a swimming pool, and even a tennis court, so children will have room to run around and play while everyone celebrates together. We hope this will make it a fun and relaxed weekend for guests traveling with their families. On the other hand, if you’re planning to treat the weekend as a little getaway, that is equally welcome — we promise not to tell the kids.
Your presence is the greatest gift, especially for those traveling from near and far. For guests who kindly insist, we will have a simple newlywed fund in place of a traditional registry.
Mexico City is one of our favorite cities and well worth exploring. A few places we recommend: Polanco – Great for restaurants, shopping, and walking around. Roma & Condesa – Beautiful neighborhoods with cafés, parks, and lively restaurants. Centro Histórico – The historic heart of the city with the Zócalo and Metropolitan Cathedral. Chapultepec Park – One of the largest city parks in the world, home to the National Museum of Anthropology. Coyoacán – A colorful historic neighborhood and home to the Frida Kahlo Museum. San Ángel – A charming colonial area, perfect for a meal at San Ángel Inn.
