Question

How Do I Get There?

Answer

We'd recommend using the Eircode (E34 C674) in Google Maps to find your way. Sometimes entering "Kilshane House" into the satnav doesn't give the most accurate results, so using the Eircode is safer. If you want to double-check, the entrance to the venue is on the N24. Eircode: E34 C674

Question

Where can I find accommodation?

Answer

The accommodation at Kilshane House is lovely. Every room is ensuite, and all houses are a short stroll to the venue. Golf buggies are on site to bring people to and fro in the event of mobility issues. Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so get booking! There are also a number of alternative options nearby, with plenty of hotels, B&Bs, and AirBnBs in the area. Stay tuned for more info here.

Question

When Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm sharp - and for all of you who know Jo, you know she's never late! The venue is closed for the bridal party and parents the evening before the wedding; however, guests can check in as early as they like the day of the wedding. You should aim to be all settled in by 1:30 to enjoy the ceremony.

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

This is a child-free wedding. Leave them with the babysitter and have a night off!

Question

What's happening the day after?

Answer

Everyone is welcome to join us the following day for a BBQ, some more wedding cake, and we'll be screening the Rugby World Cup final in the morning! Food will be served at 5:30, to give everyone plenty of time to relax, wander around the beautiful grounds, play some Mario Kart and Rock Band in the basement bar during the afternoon! If you do plan to join us for the BBQ, please make that clear on your RSVP so we can have enough food for everyone. Guests are more than welcome to stay the second night and extend the festivities.

Question

I have some dietary restrictions, is that ok?

Answer

Of course! The wedding will have amazing vegetarian options, specially chosen by Donal. There will also be gluten-free, vegan, and other options available - just let the venue know in advance and you'll be catered for. The BBQ on Day 2 will also have various options available for anyone with special dietary needs.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the entire venue and some of the on-site accommodation is completely wheelchair friendly.

Question

Is Sparky going to be the ring bearer?

Answer

Are you kidding? Sparky can't walk in a straight line without falling over his own feet. He'll be with the dog minder.

Question

Are pets welcome?

Answer

We'd rather all pets be left at home with a minder. Kilshane House have a few dogs that have free reign of the grounds, so to avoid any stress we would prefer guests not bring their own pets.

Question

What if I have more questions?

Answer

Text Donal (087 2958446) or Jo (087 1336855), or email us on donalandjo@gmail.com, and we'll do our best to answer any queries.
