When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! The attire is formal: Men - suits, tuxes, or dress pants with sport coats/blazers. Women - floor length evening dresses or pantsuits. Formal midi dresses allowed as well. Please no bright colors - dark neutrals (black, navy, grey, brown, etc) only!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
To allow our wedding guests (including parents) a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we have chosen to host an adults-only event. Please do not bring your kids unless you are told otherwise by the bride and groom. There will be lots of alcohol at this event so leave the kids at home and let loose with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive to Cross in the Woods by 1:15pm at the very latest! It will take you a few minutes to get from the parking lot to the church.

Can I bring a date?

If your invite has a plus one specified, then yes. If you have questions or are wondering if you get one, please reach out to Cecilia at 810-537-2037 and she can help clarify anything!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes, please see the “Travel” tab of our website. We have stayed at the AmericInn and the Charlevoix Inn and they were nice. Not the most upscale but it worked for us on a budget. We have not stayed at any of the other ones.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Question
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes. We would recommend getting to Cross in the Woods with some time to spare since the parking lot will not be reserved for our wedding (people come to visit CITW as a destination) so the parking may be limited. Castle Farms has a large lot however.
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No we do not currently have a shuttle set up. Please have carpooling or DD plans in place before you leave the Castle.
