When and where is the Wedding?

Answer

The Wedding will take place on November 29th, 2025 (time TBD), at Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino, Punta Cana 23301, Dominican Republic.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Your presence means the world to us, and we’re excited to celebrate together! If your little one(s) are included on the invite, they’re absolutely welcome to join the party!

Do I need a passport to attend?

Answer

Yes, since it’s an international destination, you’ll need a valid passport to travel to the Dominican Republic!

What dates are we travelling?

Answer

We are travelling on November 26th to December 3rd, 2025. However, you are more than welcome to adjust your travel dates with whatever suits you best!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1st, 2025 on our wedding website or by calling/texting us directly.

What’s included in the resort package?

Answer

The resort offers an all-inclusive package, which includes meals, drinks, and access to most activities. Take a look at our "Things to do" tab for a list of activities included!

Are there any group activities planned before the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning a few casual get-togethers leading up to the wedding and other activities. Details to come soon!

What’s the weather like in the Dominican Republic in November?

Answer

Expect warm, tropical weather with temperatures around 23 to 28 degrees celsius. Be sure to pack light clothing and sunscreen!

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The wedding will be formal, so feel free to dress accordingly for a tropical beach setting. We will also include the colour scheme we would like everyone to dress in for reference. You can find it on the "Dress Code/Color Scheme" tab! We also ask that guests avoid wearing white/ivory & let the Bride and Groom have their day!

Can I leave early or extend my stay?

Answer

Absolutely! You’re welcome to extend your stay at the resort or leave earlier. Just let us know if you need help with booking arrangements.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

Answer

Please contact the resort directly for their cancellation or change policy. We also suggest looking into travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us or the resort know in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Where can we book our resort stay?

Answer

We recommend to book your stay through Sunwing, Westjet Vacations or Air Canada Vacations. Depending on the vendor you choose to use, it may include transportation so double check before you book transportation!

Do I need to bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Unfortunately, due to venue limitations, we’re unable to extend invitations for additional guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Any additional fees?

Answer

Yes! In the Dominican Republic, they charge a local travel tax of $20USD per person. Children are $14CAD
