FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Party Cocktail—we're envisioning florals and spring colors. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans and whites or creams, including those in patterns.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Simply click the RSVP tab above to submit your response anytime before February 24, 2027.

Question

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by February 24, 2027. After this date, we'll need to finalize our guest count with our vendors and unfortunately won't be able to accommodate late responses. We'd love to have you celebrate with us, so please let us know your plans by the deadline!

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

We'd love to have you there, but we completely understand if you're unable to attend. Please select "will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you've already marked "attending" but circumstances change, please let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We've extended formal invitations to those guests we'd like to celebrate with us. If a plus one has been included in your invitation, your invite will be addressed to "Your Name & Guest."

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We absolutely love having the little ones there! However, with the exception of family members (as noted on your invitation), we'd love to encourage you to enjoy this evening as a special date night. We're so grateful for you making arrangements to celebrate with us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

A specific arrival time will be included on your formal invitation and on our website. Please plan to be seated at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. We encourage you to arrive earlier if possible to allow time for parking, signing the guest book, and getting settled. Please note that reserved seating in the front is reserved for immediate family members.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're asking for an unplugged ceremony—please leave phones and cameras away until the reception begins. We'd love for everyone to be fully present as we exchange our vows. We've hired professional photographers to capture these special moments, and we can't wait to share the photos with you once we receive them. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like during the reception!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

The memories will be priceless but the drinks won’t be. Please bring cash to enjoy the bar service.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in Taylorville, IL. We have decided to not do a hotel block to give our guest the freedom to stay at a place most comfortable for them.

Question

Irish Goodbye

Answer

We completely understand that plans can change. If you need to leave early, please feel free to slip away without interrupting dinner or dancing—an Irish goodbye is more than welcome!
