There are many factors at play that benefit this wedding. One, for example, this venue is huge. Therefore, social distancing and additional precautions can and will be used. The guest list is well below the reduced attendee rate for the venue (50% / 100 guests). Every caution will be used to ensure attendees are reasonably safe such as hand sanitizer stations. I recommend our guests practice social distancing and respiratory etiquette and sanitize hands often. We recommend our guests to sit with household members during the ceremony and reception. Lastly, we highly recommend the use of masks. Please try to bring a mask that matches your attire; fancy gloves if needed.
The Springs Event Venue, 12612 Malcomson Road, Houston, TX 77070. Both are at the venue and indoors.
Go to the "Gifts & Registry" tab. We would love only honeymoon donations.
The deadline is November 16, 2020. Please give your response (attending or not attending) at the "RSVP" tab.
To keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests who requested to be invited to the wedding in March. The "RSVP" tab will confirm your party. I may have open invitation spots after the RSVP deadline. Text me for availability after the 16th of November but no later than the 18th of November.
We recommend leaving the sweet angels at home for safety and health reasons. The venue is a huge estate and may be unsuitable for children under 6. If you choose to bring children, please ensure they are well-behaved and in your sight at the event.
This will be a formal event. Please no white/cream/ivory, gold, or burgundy attire. Please try to bring a mask that matches your attire. I recommend shopping at Etsy. Lastly, Houston weather in December will be cold.
Yes, go to the "Travel" tab for more information. Due to COVID, an Uber/Taxi is the best option to keep you safe as you move around Houston. The venue is five minutes from the SpringHill hotel. We can provide transportation from/to the welcome event (16th Dec at 5:15 pm) and possibly the wedding (4:15 pm). If you know you will need a ride, let me know by the 1st of December.
Houston traffic can be daunting for those not staying at the Springhill Suite Hotel. Therefore, please do not plan on being on time, plan on being early. The door opens at 4:20 pm and closes at 5 pm. No one will be allowed inside the building once the ceremony begins.
There are many tolls in Houston. The best way to move around is to either get a TX Tag/EZ Tag or have about $10 in cash and coins. To avoid tolls, use Google Maps on your phone and click "Avoid Tolls" in the "Driving Options" setting. Note: avoiding tolls will increase your driving distance & time.
Under NO circumstances will guests bring their own alcohol per contract! We will have a Host Bar/Cash Bar. The bar will provide beers, wines, and sodas. Water and lemonade will be provided at dinner by the caterer. The consumption of alcohol cannot be consumed until the bartenders and security arrive.
