It’s more than just our wedding venue! Explore all things science and nature that the Bishop has to offer including a state-of-the-art planetarium, manatee rehabilitation habitat, interactive learning spaces, and exhibits exploring the history of Florida tracing back to prehistoric origins. Tickets available for purchase online.
2.03-mile stretch of land lying between the Green and DeSoto bridges along the banks of the Manatee River. Enjoy a safe walking path along the river, interactive public art, a splash pad and playground, and a skateboard park along the way. The wedding venue and hotels are along the Riverwalk.
Enjoy fresh produce, local art, music, and free family activities on Old Main Street. The regular Market season is held on Saturdays, October through May, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Old Main Street in downtown Bradenton.
Think martini bar meets Irish pub, and add a Florida twist. The food is delicious and the drinks are just as good! Located in downtown Bradenton 0.3 mile from the wedding venue. O’bricks also has brunch on Saturdays only 11am-2pm.
A casual fine dining restaurant steps away from the wedding venue and hotels. Enjoy waterside dining and drinks overlooking the Manatee River. Happy hour daily 3pm-6pm and brunch on Sundays 10am-3pm.
Drinks with a view! This Oak and Stone location is conveniently located in the same building as the SpringHill Suites and includes a rooftop bar for stunning views of the Manatee River.
Motorworks is a local Bradenton brewery 0.5 mile from the wedding venue, pretty close but we recommend grabbing an Uber or Lyft. They have a great outdoor space that offers live music some nights, and they typically have 1-2 food trucks serving food.
Although it’s not in downtown Bradenton, this restaurant is only a 4-mile ride from the venue and well worth the very short trip for exceptional, authentic Italian food! Tiramisu is our absolute favorite restaurant. (Open for dinner only, reservations highly recommended.)
One of Nate’s favorite spots for fresh seafood, Tide Tables sits on the edge of Sarasota Bay. The tiki bar and surrounding boats give quintessential Florida beach vibes. If you’re able to make the approximately 10-mile trip to Tide Tables from downtown Bradenton, we recommend getting there right at 11:30am when they open because they get busy quick and do not take reservations.
Enjoy a sunny beach day or go just in the evening for the stunning sunset on Anna Maria Island. Some good restaurants on the island include Ugly Grouper and Hurricane Hanks. Address provided above is the address for free public parking with beach access.
