Dominique and Kevin’s story began on a warm summer night in 2018, when Dominique was on a girls’ trip in San Diego and, by chance, the two met—an unexpected moment that would quietly change everything. What followed was a love that refused to be limited by distance, as Kevin’s service in the military meant they spent five years navigating long distance, crossing miles and time zones, and traveling between Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States just to be together. Through every goodbye at the airport and every long-awaited reunion, their bond only grew stronger. In the fall of 2023, Dominique made the leap to San Diego to finally close the distance and begin their life side by side. On December 25, 2024, Kevin proposed, marking the start of their next chapter—a forever they had already been building for years. Now, as they look ahead to their wedding this August, they celebrate a love defined by adventure, resilience, God's blessings, and the certainty that they were always meant to find their way to each other.
