We met years before we even started to date. We met the summer before Dom started high school in 2006, and we just clicked immediately. We shared the same sense of humor, had the same taste in music, and always found ourselves laughing over something. Years later, we found ourselves sitting on the floor, kissing over a box of pizza that would start it all.

Our photoshoot was approaching to commemorate our four year anniversary. Julio had previously considered this and other options, but as others fell through, the photoshoot was the perfect place for the proposal. The day before the proposal, Julio decided to keep it a seceret from everyone, except for Evan. He wanted to ask Evan first if it was alright to marry his mom, and his immediate response was: FINALLY! And then it happened... January 17, 2019. Julio was carrying around the ring in his jean jacket during the photoshoot, and was extremely nervouse of possibly dropping the ring. As we walked around, the one thing on Julio’s mind was, “When is the perfect moment?” As we began to climb a hill, Julio pulled the photographer aside and told him what he was about to do, and the photographer was ecstatic! Of course, Dom would get mad because Julio was taking forever to climb up the hill, but she had no idea what Julio was about to do. When we finally reached the top, Julio kept smiling all weird and just kept repeating “I love you,” and how happy he was. And then, he got down on one knee and asked, “Wanna do this thing with me?” 😂 Dom was an absolute mess, and Julio didnt expect her to cry, but she did and the moment was absolutely right. Being able to look at the reactions of our faces during this moment through the photos is so precious to us and we wouldnt change this moment for the world.
