Newport's enchanting 3.5-mile Cliff Walk is the perfect place for your moment of peace. Panoramic ocean views, crashing waves and the perfect amount of sea breeze on one side and stunning, century-old, Gilded Age mansions on the other Metered parking (from May 1-October 31) is available at: Memorial Boulevard at Easton’s Beach ($2/hour, 3-hour limit). A pay-by-plate machine provides parking for up to 4 hours. Enter your license plate number and make your payment via credit card, dollars, or coins. Narragansett Avenue at 40 Steps ($1.25 - $2.00, 4-hour limit). Enter your license plate number and make your payment—there's no need to put a receipt on your dashboard.
