St. Bernard’s church has a parking lot to the side of the building. Once that fills up, there is a parking deck next door. This deck is free for the weekend, when you pull in, make sure to mention you are coming from St. Bernard’s for the wedding.
We ask our guests to wear semi-formal to formal attire. Ladies in dresses and gentlemen in suits. We want everyone to feel and look their best!
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. There will be an outdoor patio at the reception for anyone who may need to step outside.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the reception hall at 4 o'clock where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. This gives guests times to drop things off at their car or hotel, use the restroom, or spend some time in downtown Akron.
“You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.”
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
DUH! We ask you to please bring your kids along. This is an event for the whole family and would love for there to be kids for Gianna to play with.
