Question

1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

2. What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Cold weather. Please bring a jacket or coat.

3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony and reception will be at the same venue.

4. Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event except for the few children that are apart of the wedding party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

5. Can I bring a friend?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to limited capacity and budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

6. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoor ceremony and reception. Cocktail hour may be outside if weather permits.

7. What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail area where we will be serving hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

8. What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

9. How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The venue should be available by GPS. Shuttle is provided by the hotel.

10. What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

11. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Onsite parking is available for free. There will be a parking attendant directing the parking flow.

12. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay

Answer

Yes. If you visit the “Travel” tab of the website, you will find all of the information regarding lodging and accommodations.

13. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

November 1, 2023. You will RSVP online through our wedding website.

14. Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

15. Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes. Appetizers, passed hors devours, and a buffet dinner. Full open bar and refreshments are provided.

16. Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Dietary restrictions/allergies will be accommodated per request. Please let us know so we will provide options for you.

17. Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a cash gift would be very welcome.

18. Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. Shuttles will be provided upon call for all guests who book through the room block, as indicated in the travel section of our website.

19. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media pages. We will have an unplugged ceremony only. When posting on social media, please tag the photo(s) with our wedding hashtag #DominiquegotCoryedAway or tag us so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

21. When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

Reception ends at 10:30pm. No after-party at this time

22. What if I show up late?

Answer

Guests will be able to access the venue starting at 6:00pm. The wedding will promptly begin at 6:30pm. If you are late, you will have to wait until the ceremony is over so we do not have any interruptions.
