Our story started in 2015 at Kona Grill, my very first job. Little did I know, I'd also be meeting my future husband... and let's be honest, everyone knew I had a huge crush on him from day one. We started as coworkers, but quickly became friends. Long shifts turned into inside jokes, endless conversations, and little moments that made everything better like how he would make me coffee even when he was busy, or always gave me his jacket when I was cold. All of this totally fed my delusion that maybe he had a crush on me too (spoiler: I may have been right). Over the years, our friendship grew stronger. There were a few bumps along the way, of course, but we always found our way back to each other and every time we did, our connection grew even stronger. Then in 2021, on a trip to Cancun with his family, we finally made it official. Cancun became even more special on November 2, 2025, when he proposed in the very place where our story truly began. What started as a coworker crush turned into my best friend, favorite person, and love of my life. We've grown together, laughed together, and built a love that feels steady, safe, and completely ours. And now we get to spend forever choosing each other just like we always have.
