Dominic met Claire in the summer of 2017 while she was working at . Dominic occasionally came into the store over the next year to tell Claire hello. One day Dominic finally asked Claire out on a date. Dominic took Claire to the Carousel Bar at the Hotel Monteleone. Claire and Dominic both knew on the first date that this was something special. Over the next couple of years, Claire and Dominic truly grew together and knew that they were meant for each other. Together, they both got to know each other's families and friends. Claire, after graduating from nursing school, immediately started working on the front lines of the pandemic. Despite being a stressful and uncertain time, Dominic was beyond supportive and (a day before the world shut down in March) went and bought her a beautiful ring. After asking Claire's parents for their blessing, Dominic proposed to Claire on December 18 2020 in front of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Claire and Dominic both love this church, and decided that this is where they want to get married. We are truly so blessed to have supportive and involved families and friends. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all in April.
