We met at work, both serving as counselors in the substance abuse treatment field. What began as professional respect grew into something far deeper — a shared understanding of resilience, growth, and the quiet strength it takes to walk through life with intention. Outside of work, we discovered a natural rhythm together. Evenings spent cooking and unwinding turned into long conversations, spontaneous road trips, and weekends exploring wherever the map led us. We’ve stood beside rivers, traced mountain paths, walked along the ocean at dusk, and cast lines into quiet waters — not always catching fish, but always finding something worth keeping. Through travel, laughter, and the steady work of everyday life, our partnership deepened.
