You could say our story started in the most romantic of places: freshman year of high school. Back then, we were mostly focused on passing italian classes together, and our mutual love for soccer and goalkeeping. We became friends fast — the kind of friends who laughed at each other’s bad jokes and always supported one another. Over the years, life took us in different directions. We stayed in touch — sometimes a text here, a message there, and seeing each other once a year for homemade birthday pizza in the Bakers’ basement — always happy to see the other doing well. But it wasn’t until we were 29 that something changed. With Jenna finally taking a chance admitting feelings and Dom suggesting a hangout over Labor Day weekend, declaring “this time though, it’s a date”. Before we knew it, we were seeing each other in a completely new light. Turns out, all those years of friendship were just a very long prequel to the love story we were meant to have. Now, after years of friendship, laughter, and a little bit of “finally getting the timing right,” we can’t wait to start the next chapter — as husband and wife. We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you — the people who’ve witnessed every awkward stage, every milestone, and now, our favorite story yet.
