I met Dominic back in 2012, when we were Juniors at the University of Delaware (Go Blue Hens!). I was the typical college party girl, who thrived off being ‘young, wild & free’ as many would say. One Saturday, his frat house threw a huge party, where I danced the day away with a bunch of my girlfriends. I must have stuck out like a sore thumb to Dom, because he wouldn’t leave me alone! After reluctantly giving him my number that day, I would wake up with a text message from him every single day. Not a day passed where he didnt try to talk to me or even come surprise me with a bagel sandwich for breakfast. I had zero interest in having a serious relationship, but with his persistence and endearing charm, I finally decided to open up my heart and give him a chance. Good thing I did, because I quickly realized he was my soulmate and the love of my life. Although I didn’t have the ‘Ah Ha, love at first sight moment’ like he did, my heart knew he was going to be my husband and the father of my kids one day. Here we are, 9 years later, finally celebrating our love story with you!

The day I laid my eyes on Sophie at the start of our junior year in 2012, I knew that she was the one! Sophie has been, and always will be something special. Although she did not give me the time of day in the beginning, I still pursued her and made sure to let her know I wasn’t going anywhere. Some may have given up for how long it took, but when you love someone the way I love her, you know. After 8 long months of “talking” I finally said to her, “I had enough of talking, we are now in a relationship.” And we haven’t looked back since. She has been my rock over these last 9 years and puts a smile on my face everyday. She has been with me through all my highs and lows, (too many to count) and I couldn’t ask for a better partner to spend the rest of my life and build a family with!
