Weâre tying the knot on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the American Legion in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. Full address and event times can be found on the âDetailsâ page!
We canât wait to celebrate with you! Kindly RSVP as soon as you canâno later than September 19, 2025. You can RSVP right here on our website!
The ceremony will take place outdoors, overlooking the water. There is a small hill to walk down to the ceremony space, so please take your time and walk with careâthe view is absolutely worth it! The reception will be indoors, but guests are welcome to enjoy the surrounding outdoor area, which features a playground for the kids and a beautiful view of Johnsonâs Pond. Just a heads up: the outdoor spaces include gravel and grass, so we recommend wearing comfortable footwear.
Our ceremony will be held outside, behind the American Legion building. When you arrive, just walk around to the back deckâyouâll see signs or people to guide you. The ceremony space is down the hill, overlooking the water. Itâs a short walk with a beautiful view! If you need assistance or have any mobility concerns, please let us know in advanceâweâll be happy to help make sure you get down to the ceremony space comfortably.
The ceremony starts promptly at 1:00pm, so we recommend arriving by 12:45 to park, get settled, and take in the view before we begin. Youâre also welcome to come as early as 12:30 and grab a drink at the bar before the ceremony kicks off!
Come comfy, come casual! No need to break out the ballgowns or tuxesâweâre keeping it relaxed and laid-back. Think sundresses, polos, nice jeans, or whatever makes you feel good and ready to celebrate! Think cute and coolânot too formal, but still wedding-worthy. Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, with the reception taking place indoors. Please note: there is a hill leading down to the ceremony space, so we kindly ask guests to walk with care. The surrounding outdoor areasâwhere you might mingle, take photos, or let the kids playâinclude gravel and grass. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as heels may sink and dressy footwear might get a little dusty!
Late September in North Carolina is usually warm and pleasantâthink sunny skies with temps in the 70s to low 80s during the day and cooler in the evening. We recommend bringing a light layer just in case!
Itâs a cash bar, so donât forget to bring cash or a card if youâd like a drink! While Dominic and I arenât big drinkers ourselves, we still wanted to make sure our guests could enjoy their favorite drinks. The American Legion has a fully stocked bar, and hereâs a little perk: the prices are shockingly lowâCheers! đ»
