If you need a Starbucks in the morning, Great Falls will be your best option.

Great Falls International Airport (GTF)

For those of you flying in, we recommend using the Great Falls Airport. It’s just a little over an hour’s drive to Stanford, and the trip itself is part of the experience—you’ll get to enjoy the wide-open views of Big Sky Country along the way. It’s a beautiful, stress-free drive that sets the tone perfectly for the celebration ahead!

Billings Logan International Airport (BIL)

For those looking at other flight options, Billings Airport is also a great choice. It’s about a two and a half hour drive to Stanford, giving you a little more time to soak in Montana’s wide-open landscapes and rolling plains. The route is easy to navigate and offers plenty of opportunities to see Big Sky Country in all its beauty.

The Sundown is the closest lodging option to our wedding location and has a limited number of rooms reserved for our guests. To book, please CALL the motel directly and ask for Brian Johnson, and be sure to mention that you are booking for the Anderson wedding. Availability is very limited — only six rooms remain, and room occupancy varies — so we strongly encourage guests to contact Brian as soon as possible.

Dry Wolf Campground is a Forest Service campground located in the Little Belt Mountains, approximately 21 miles from Stanford. It offers a rustic camping experience surrounded by pine forest, with designated campsites suitable for pitching tents, each equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. The campground is ideal for guests who enjoy outdoor recreation such as hiking, fishing, and exploring nearby forest roads. Please note that while the website currently lists the campground as closed, this is due to the off-season; it will be open during our wedding weekend.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN)

Bozeman (BZN) is another great option, located about 2 hours and 45 minutes from Stanford. If you’re looking to fly into Bobcat Country and catch a glimpse of the reigning FCS Football Champions, Bozeman is your airport! From there, enjoy a scenic drive through Big Sky Country—honestly, you can’t go wrong flying into any of the three airports, as the views are always absolutely breathtaking.
