We met back in August 2019 while Dominic was still working for the US Marshals when he was coordinating a fugitive operation consisting the collaboration of numerous law enforcement organizations. At that time we said our introductions and our goodbyes, until a few months later when we saw each other again for work. After realizing the benefit he could bring to Probation, I set up a meeting to discuss serving warrants. At that meeting we discussed work and then continued chatting. Over the next several months we became friends, met for dinner occasionally and he attended church with me. He was a listening ear in the midst of my crazy dating experiences (haha!). At one point we briefly touched on how we enjoyed each other's company. We discussed goals and how we saw our individual lives in the years to come. We quickly brushed off any notion of whether or not something was there between us, as we seemed to be moving in different directions so ultimately neither one of us thought the other was interested. BUT WE WERE WRONG.... Around the same time, we separately made the decision to stop dating and start praying that God would just fill that void when He saw fit. Little did I know that for 6 months, this man had been praying God to reveal if I was the one for him. On October 31, 2020, I was headed to Dominic's house. While dressed in my costume and covered in black skeleton face makeup, Dominic opened the door to his home and kissed me. That was the moment I found out he liked me! Eventually as time went on we grew closer and closer. We admitted to each other our feelings and sat down and discussed what a future together would look like and what hurdles we may face. Needless to say, it all worked out and the rest, is HISTORY!
