Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that all guests dress in black-tie optional attire for the wedding ceremony and reception (men can also wear a dark suit) and cocktail attire for the welcome event!

Question

What does a black-tie optional dress code entail?

Answer

Traditionally, women should wear floor-length evening gowns. However, women are welcome to wear a suit if it is more comfortable! Men are recommended to wear a dark tuxedo or a suit if they do not have a tux. If you are wearing a suit, we recommend wearing a dark-colored one. We will be ringing in the New Year, so please be comfortable as we dance the night away!

Question

What does a cocktail dress code entail?

Answer

A cocktail dress code typically includes slacks, khakis, or dress pants paired with a button-down shirt or sweater. We recommend that men wear a sports coat without a tie. Women can wear a dress, a skirt, or a pantsuit.

Question

Can I bring a date or kids?

Answer

Due to limited space, this event is adult-only, and we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Which hotel do you recommend for my stay?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of hotel rooms is available at The Westin Book Cadillac with a discounted rate for our guests. You can find all of the hotel information by clicking on the "Travel" tab. We highly encourage you to stay here as it will be the most convenient spot for you.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! All guests will be invited to the welcome party, which will take place the day before the wedding ceremony and the reception on Tuesday, December 30. We will continue to update the schedule page on our website as our planning process evolves with more details.

Question

Will there be a coat check?

Answer

Yes, there will be a coat check at every event. We encourage guests to leave their coats on the buses for the wedding ceremony due to limited space in the chapel.
