Bass Lake Recreation Area
Bass Lake is a must-see and only a short 15-minute drive up the road. It is where we spend a lot of time fishing on the boat or paddleboarding with the pup! There are plenty of places to park and walk the shoreline, and if you are interested there are boat/kayak rentals as well. Ducey's is a restaurant that overlooks the lake and is great for grabbing a bite to eat or having a vacation beverage!
South Gate Brewing Company
Our brewery in town is an awesome place to stop! Go relax on the outdoor patio with some good food and local beer!
Oakhurst Grill & Whiskey 41 Lounge
Little more upscale of a restaurant but great diverse menu and cozy bar area with a huge whiskey selection! Also, it is located directly next door to the Best Western if you happen to stay there!
Bee's Bakery Cafe
Great place for a quick breakfast or brunch stop. Inside and outside seating!
Yosemite National Park
Our town of Oakhurst is also known as "The Gateway to Yosemite," so if your schedule permits, Yosemite National Park is only 1 hour up the road!
