Dominic and Allyson met back in January 2020 at a college gathering. However, if you ask Dom they met in October 2019 at the library when Ally dissed him. Ally and Dom spent many nights studying in the library together and going on dates to Jalisco's before Dom asked Ally to be his girlfriend on February 25th, 2020. Shortly after, they were sent back home to Wisconsin and Missouri because of Covid and the long distance journey began. Prior to starting school again in the fall, they spent many dates on FaceTime and Skype while waiting for the opportunity to travel and visit one another in their hometowns. After spending Covid year together at school, including some quarantining together, the journey of long distance dating began once again after Dom graduated from Aurora University in 2021. They continued to be long distance until Ally graduated in 2023 and moved to Kansas City. They moved in together October 2023 after over 2 years of living 581 miles apart. The happy couple spent the next year and a half building a life together in downtown Kansas City. They navigated Ally starting her nursing career and Dom finishing grad school in December 2024. March 23, 2025 the day Dom finally popped the question! The most perfect day set up by Dom prior to getting down on one knee. He had Ally and her parents go to various places around the city that they enjoy or visited on Ally's first trip to KC. The "scavenger hunt" ended at Kauffman Memorial Gardens where Dom had one final letter before asking Ally to marry him. Ally was overjoyed with emotion with the easiest yes ever!
