Short Springs Natural Area

Short Springs is only 15 minutes from Old Stone Fort and Dominic also works here a couple days each week.

Rutledge Falls

If you’re going to Old Stone Fort and Short Springs you might as well stop at Rutledge. It’s right in between and less than 1/4 mile hike from the parking lot. (It was also featured in the Hannah Montana movie)

This is where Dominic proposed to Erika. He also worked here as a seasonal in 2020

Virgin Falls

We think Virgin Falls is one of the best waterfalls in Tennessee, but you’ll have to work for it. It’s about 2 and a half hours outside of Nashville and a 9 mile round trip hike. Definitely an all day trip but totally worth it in our opinion.
