The Merger Their story started when their two congregations merged together. At first, they were just friends. She thought he was genuinely funny and enjoyed his company, but she never imagined her feelings would one day change. He, on the other hand, had a hunch much earlier. Every time they hung out, he felt a sense of familiarity and comfort. Plus, he thought she was pretty hilarious, too. The Shift & The Dreams Even though she was somewhat guarded at the time, she kept popping up in his dreams. He had a feeling that she was going to be a major part of his life. Then, the shift happened. She started seeing him in a totally new light. In a world where she often felt misunderstood, he truly saw her for exactly who she was. It did not take her long to realize he was everything she had been praying for. The "Impossible to Miss" Hints Once her mind was made up, she started dropping hints that were absolutely impossible to miss. He realized this was his golden opportunity, and he decided he was not going to let it pass him by. The Perfect Fit Once they were finally on the same page, everything clicked. They found a rare sense of understanding and a deep, comforting peace with one another. Best of all, they share a sense of humor that is equal parts weird, sarcastic, and completely silly. Making each day together feel easy and fun. The Keychain Proposal The proposal was entirely unique to him. He grabbed her hand, dropped his car keys into it, and casually asked, "Will you drive my car?" Naturally, she started laughing and teasing him, comparing him to Jim from The Office when he fake-proposed to Pam. But the joke was on her—that is exactly when she looked down and saw the ring hanging right there on his keychain. The Forever Chapter Now, the keys are put away, the ring is on her finger, and the countdown is officially on.
