We’re getting married!

We are high school sweethearts! We met in Mr.Juarez's Earth Science class freshman year. I just remember Daniel being a nice guy for making an effort to say hi in the hallways and make conversation. We always greeted each other and caught up when we could as sophomore and junior years passed. It wasn't until mid senior year in 2012 when we ran into each other again at a mutual friend's party that we started talking to each other more often. At the time, I had been going to another school temporarily but planned to come back to Kennedy sometime mid year to graduate with my original class. He told me that we should meet up again once I come back so we could hang out, and the first day I got back to Kennedy, that's exactly what I did! I found him and we started hanging out with a small group of friends. A few months later... we became official! We got to enjoy the last few months of our senior year together, and have been together ever since.

On what I thought would be just another Valentines Day, he took me to the rose covered heart arch in Old Sacramento to get some Valentines pictures. We asked the nice couple behind us in line to help us get some cute photos, and they were happy to help. When getting ready to pose, he was suddenly on one knee with the most beautiful ring, asking me to marry him. The easiest question I've ever had to answer in my life. Now we're engaged, waiting for our big day, and with so many amazing photos of the proposal thanks to the sweet couple standing in line behind us at Old Sacramento! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you, on our ten year anniversary! See you on May 8th, 2022!!
