Time for the "Big Party"!

In 2023, Bill and Dom met on Match.com after both decided to pay for subscriptions. Dom, with a pessimistic outlook, chose a 3-month plan, while Bill opted for a 1-month one. They met within a week of signing up—clearly both paying too much for Match.com, but also very clearly worth it. They connected from Southampton, MA, and Waterbury, CT. Their first date was a test of compatibility. Dom was plant-based at the time, and Bill intentionally suggested BBQ at “Theodore’s - Booze, Blues & BBQ”, and billiards in Springfield, MA. Dom, who disliked pool, suggested bowling instead, unaware of the billiards tables upstairs at Theodore’s. Bill, not keen on bowling, proposed rock climbing in Hadley, MA. They continued texting that evening, and Bill planned a second date. Unfortunately, Dom admitted he was reconnecting with an ex and didn’t know where that would lead. Bill doubled down and called out Dom, saying, “I don’t feel like I’m being given a fair chance”. It was after Bill called out Dom that they then had their second date, which completely won Dom over. A trip to The Botanic Garden at Smith College. This was when Dom & Bill realized they were both plant freaks. This story is already longer than a CVS receipt, and I can’t believe you’ve made it this far—or maybe you haven’t, and that’s okay. They went on more dates, attended pride parades, visited countless botanical gardens, bought a house, moved all their plants in, got married in the house in 2024, and now we’re going to wrap it up with a classic: “and the rest is history…”
