We're getting married!

3.20.16 We met at BBQ at a mutual friends house and were surprised we hadn't met earlier considering how many friends we had in common. We had both recently graduated from Boise State University (go Broncos!) and it was actually Rachel's birthday the day we met. Rachel was the first to open up the conversation by telling Dom that she liked his socks. If you know Dom, you know his socks are always on point. Later, they played Catan with their friends and Dom was a true gentleman as he helped Rachel through her very first game of Catan. Their "first date" was a long hike where they spent hours getting to know each other and quickly found out that they were best friends and perhaps, soul mates. And well, the rest is history.

On a trip to Cabo to celebrate Rachel finishing her Master’s program, Dom and Rachel went on an early morning hike to overlook the beautiful point where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. As Rachel was turning around from taking photos of the view, Dom was on one knee and popped the big question. Rachel was curious why Dom wouldn’t let her walk behind him during the hike. Now we know it’s because the ring was in his back pocket the whole time. Dom jokes that Rachel only said yes due to the many Mango Tango’s consumed on that trip but we all know she would have said yes anyways. They are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you in September!
