Schedule

The wedding will take place over two days - we understand that this might require multiple days of hotel stays and taking days off of work for some of you and that this can be expensive. Please do not feel pressure to come for all events if that is financially stressful! We would be happy to see you for any amount of time. The venue for the Western ceremony, the welcome drinks, and the hotel most people will be staying at are all within walking distance of each other in Oak Park (a suburb of Chicago). However, the venue for the Tamil ceremony is in the city - a 15 minute Uber away.

Cocktail Attire - But also honestly whatever you like! Feel free to wear South Asian or Western clothes. No colors are off limits!

Doors open at 9:30, light refreshments will be served before the ceremony. Ceremony starts at 10:00. A traditional vegetarian lunch will be served after the ceremony.

Casual

We will be having a casual event with drinks and bar snacks this evening to spend more time with you all. It's funny to call it welcome drinks since we'll already have had one out of two weddings - but oh well!

Western Wedding & Reception

Cocktail Attire - Essentially same as Tamil Wedding - but you'll want something you can boogie in this day! Note that as long as it's not freezing or raining the ceremony will be outside - consider bringing a shawl or coat but we'll see what weather looks like as we get closer

Doors open at 4:00 PM, ceremony will start at 4:30 PM
