Groomsman/Officiant
Yitz put up with living with us for 3 years, so there's no better person to officiate our wedding. Dom and Yitz hated each other for no reason when they first met, I think it's safe to say they don't hate each other anymore. Unless it's basketball season, when Yitz is sporting the Nets. Yitz once got on the court at a Nets game where he was in a "Best Shave" Competition. He lost that to a real hunk, but now, Yitz owns a successful men's grooming company. Who's laughing now?
"Best" Man
With a last name like Best, you know DJ was born for this role. They call him Donnie Deals, because he can sell anything to anyone. I'm just happy he sold me his friendship, free of charge. Fun fact, Dom and DJ survived living off friends couches, hotel rooms and the floor of an unsold apartment after Hurricane Sandy.
Groomswoman
Who needs gender norms when you have friends like Lindsay. When she's not eating Dos Toros tacos, she enjoys traveling around the world. I wonder where she's off to next! Hopefully, the DJ plays some Shakira, so we can hear some of Lin's famous Shakira vocals and maybe an Irish jig
Groomswoman
Dom and Malorie met on a Quinnipiac dorm room Facebook page prior to their Freshman year. They decided they would make their dorm the best, and I think it's safe to say they did. This all-star nurse hates cats but loves to tap dance. Who knows - maybe she'll break it down on the dance floor! She hates Uber so if you show up in one be prepared to get yelled at!
Groomsman
Dan and Dom met at a blacklight party their sophomore year of college. When he's not playing on one of his five different softball teams, he loves hanging in his "Dan Cave" drinking craft brews with his wife and cats.
Groomsman
Ryan and Dom became friends after they realized they had identical singing voices at a party Yitz was throwing in college. Ryan and Dom love to roast each other over sports, and one time, Dom trolled Ryan into throwing a chair down a flight of stairs during the MLB playoffs. Although Ryan has moved to Phoenix with his muse Ashley, they are still buddies at heart.
Groomsman
Julia and Andrew met during a semester "abroad" in Los Angeles. Andrew is one of our best friends, and although he has moved to Atlanta, (go GA Tech!), every time we hang out it is like nothing has changed. If you need help applying to colleges, Andrew is the person to talk to!
Bridesmaid
Julia and Denise met before college on the Ithaca College accepted students portal and have been friends ever since. She's the only person who may love food more than Julia. Denise will be marrying her longtime boyfriend Patrick this summer. We can't wait!
Maid of Honor/Sister of the Bride
Julia and Caroline met at Mount Sinai Hospital in March 1993, and Julia has been bossing her around ever since. Dubbed "the philosopher queen" at the ripe age of three, she's as wise as the Ravenclaw she was born to be. Caroline moved to LA last year to make it big in the TV industry. Make sure to slow down when you speak to her, as they live a little slower out there. Surf's up.
Bridesmaid
Juliet and Julia (not the same name, but yes they've heard it before) have been friends since they met as vocal majors in high school, precociously and annoyingly belting out show tunes on the subway. Juliet is currently saving the world as a lawyer for human rights. You go girl!
Bridesmaid
Gwen and Julia had a rocky start - though they met in middle school, their friendship didn't bloom until high school, and it's been smooth sailing ever since. When they're not being each others therapists, Gwen can most likely be found whipping up something delicious and healthy with Dom and Jul.
Bridesmaid
Chloe and Julia have been friends since it was socially acceptable to go topless. From herding the cows into the barn at farm camp to adventures in Israel, they're really more family than friends.
Bridesmaid
Julia and Maren met waiting in line for the bathroom their freshman year of college. There's always "One Less Lonely Girl" when these Beliebers are together. There's also one less quiet room as their hangouts can get pretty loud.
Bridesmaid/Sister of the Groom
Dom met Kristen at her birthday party in May of 1991. A candy maker at Mars by day, clean eating influencer by night, Kristen is a titan of the food world. Although she is all grown up, Dom still remembers that time in Italy she didn't finish her strawberry daiquiri because it was "too strong".
